  Steyr Euro ¢ó engine
Developed and designed by CNHTC associated with Ricardo company, UK, Denso company, Japan, and TNO testing center, Netherlands, the SINOTRUK Euro ¢ó common rail engine possesses exclusive intellectual property rights and is a new generation internationally advanced engine with electronic control, common rail and 4-valves. It has passed EEC identification performed by authoritative vehicle test organization RDW (Vehicle technical information center) in Netherlands authorized by Economic Commission for Europe (ECE), and can be sold in the countries that admit the emission regulations of the European Union. Environment-friendly: The engine reaches Euro ¢ó and Euro ¢ô by insistently using the fuel produced in China. The wider crankcase strengthened in compliance with Euro ¢óand Euro ¢ô which possesses exclusive intellectual property rights is adopted, so that the vibration and noise are reduced effectively. Energy saving: The engine adopts the second generation electronic control common rail fuel system of Denso, Japan, 4-valves, and the electronic control air exhaust and leakage braking system of Jacobs. The fuel consumption is lowered by 10% compared with that of the engines of the same level . Reliability: B10 service life reaches 12£¬000h(equal to 1,000,000 kilometers). Economy: The original dimension of jointing former Steyr engine and the vehicle is retained, and 80% parts of the new engines can be interchanged with those of the Steyr Euro ¢̣ engine, possessing good succession and interchangeability, so it will save a great amount of expenses for customers.
  Energy-Efficient No.2 engine
Upgraded and designed in term of European mechanical development procedure, and according to Chinese road transportation characteristics, SINOTRUK Energy-saving No.2 engine is the new generation power system with possession of the exclusive intellectual property rights. Through 6000h continuous entire engine test, it possesses not only higher reliability, stronger dynamical characteristics, but also good fuel-saving effect, its fuel-consumption per 100 kilometer is lowered by more than 10% compared with that of all the other ones of the same kind in China, the minimum specific fuel consumption is 189g/kwh and reaches the level of modern European standards. The fuel system of SINOTRUK Energy-Efficient No.2 engine is the most advanced of all the engines of the same kind in China nowadays, especially it takes the lead in adopting PS8500 injection pump, earlier than other producers who adopt 7100 injection pump at present, thus improving the engine¡¯s performance and reliability markedly, and making the engine reach a better matching and own more advanced structure with possession of outstanding advantages. Through reasonable matching of the turbocharger with air release valve and PS8500 injection pump, the dynamic characteristic and fuel economy of the engine are markedly improved. With smaller spiral housing adopted, the turbocharger with air escape valve responses more quickly with larger intake air volume and higher air fuel ratio at low speed, this increases the torque at low speed and solves the problem with black smoke at low speed working condition. At the same time, when the engine produces excessive high air pressure at high speed, the turbocharger with air escape valve can exhaust waste gas partly through valve, so that the harm to the engine due to excessive high cylinder explosive pressure at high speed working conditions will be avoided, and the service life of the engine will be prolonged effectively.
